Sooorry I know I'm late but I was responsible for the ENTIRE Thanksgiving dinner this year. That's right I had the honor of hosting my very first Thanksgiving. Yay! After lots of work it was successfully pulled off.
Traditionally there's a turkey and stuffing and some kind of pie but not at my Thanksgiving dinner. There was NO turkey and no stuffing but there was lots of flavor and lots of food.
The menu:
buttery rolls
green salad
stuffed pork chops
creamy mac and cheese w/ bacon
cheesy, rustic potatoe casserole
red velvet cupcakes
mixed berry cheesecake
This Thanksgiving was so momentous because of all of the great things/accomplishments/blessings that have occurred this year, despite all of the obstacles, giving Thanks was super easy!
Thank God for all that He's done even if its not Thanksgiving day. He's awesome and has kept you alive despite all of the bad things that happen in the world and could have happened to you. Focus on the good things and watch how much more good things will start happening.
