From the Farm-to-the-Table

I found this great article via Redbookmag.com via Pinterest (you can follow me on pinterest by clicking here). There's a move going on that is promoting "clean eating" to the extreme its defined as only eating foods that were grown from the ground.  No fast food or processed foods.  To be honest it challenges everything you know about food and for those of you who [spiritually] fast it is quite similar to what you would eat on a Daniel fast.

This particular article gives you 3 course meals for two whole weeks i.e. you don't have to figure it out for yourself! (Yay!)  WARNING! it is not for the faint of heart nor is it for heavy carnivores.  But if you're looking to start cleaning up your eating habits it will give you great ideas and cause you to rethink what you buy at the grocery store.

Should you decide to couple this eating style (I don't believe in diets) with Jesus Body workout or any other workout you will see GREAT results and quick fat burn.

Some of the benefits of eating clean:
  • quick fat burning
  • cleanse body of unnatural processed food
  • better overall health
  • enjoyment of healthy natural foods

Remember a lean body doesn't start with your workout it starts with what you EAT!

The SHIFT has begun...

Ever since the 2013 Glamour Girl Women's Conference with the theme titled 'Graced for Exploits', the underlying understanding of grace has been lingering within me.

Many people characterize grace by phrases like "oh by the grace of God Ill be there" or "That was a close call, thank God for grace". They're true statements yet leave so much out from the power Gods grace.

I believe grace is accurately defined as Gods divine ability through your ability, unmerited favor and blessings. It is by faith through grace we are saved so that no man can boast.
Grace gives you the privileged of doing life with God and flowing with Him in such a way that makes your life effortless!

LIFE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE SO HARD! God doesn't want it that way. Will there be trials? Sure but Jesus overcame them for us already! Again effortless living. Working in the grace of God in your life will do several things:

1 guide your life
2 give you clarity
3 walk closer & more intimately with God
4 push out the funny stuff (no kooky Christian stuff just the purity of God)
5 filter through your voice, the enemy's voice and Gods voice (who's voice is prevalent?)
6 give you an overflowing life

The how to is the part you have to understand. As simple as it is it's yet the most challenging thing we're asked to do: pay attention. When God is expressing His grace through you He's not going to blow a whistle at you or put up a billboard that says "GRACE RIGHT HERE". No. You will know by the ebbs and flows, the rhythm by which your life is moving. But if you're not paying attention you'll keep enforcing what you think ought to be happening when there's no grace for it.

The good life in God. The great life is to walk with God.
The supernatural life is to live in grace.
2014 is the year of exceeding grace!

Melt that belly fat...4 tips for QUICK results!

Summer is here yet you're still trying to figure out a way to get rid of some stubborn fat. No problem hautemama (that's what I call myself) is here! I call myself the way I see myself and I see myself as a haute mama ...which leads me to my quick fat busting secrets:

1. See yourself smaller.

You cannot pay attention to the lying vanities or situation that is in front of you. What size do you want to be? How would you like to feel when walking up the stairs? Speak those positive and affirming words over yourself and you will see a shift in your mindset. Whatever your mind sees will be what you experience.

2. Go on a fast.

Now real fasting involves prayer and spending one with God but this fast is to refrain from eating ANY kind of sugary foods. That includes putting sugar in your coffee. Sugar packs on pounds especially soda pop. Refrain from it for 21 days and you'll see a massive difference! (Why 21 days? Check out my book 21 Laws that Rule the World where I talk about the power of habit and how that law can help you look better, feel better and achieve great things in life).

3. Jump rope.

They are inexpensive. They are simple. And they work! While you're watching your favorite hour long show (for example Scandal) during the commercials get up an begin to jump rope. Most commercial breaks during a 60 minute program is a total of 30 minutes. If you jump rope every time you see a commercial you are essentially doing a 30 minute workout! Do that 3-4 times a week and see that beach body emerge.

4. Drink plenty of [lemon] water.

I understand that most people don't drink water because it has no taste but when you squeeze some lemon or lime juice into the water it makes it tasty. Water flushes out toxins and other unnecessary particles within your system. And with all the fat burning you'll need something to cool you down.

Greatness Tip:
As much as I know these fat busting secrets will help you for quick results I must be honest; taking care of your temple is a year around job. You must decide I make a lifestyle change in order to achieve the true results you want.  Your objective should be to have a beach body YEAR ROUND!

Use Jesus Body Workout DVD to help you obtain that goal. Included with the DVD are recipes and tips that you can use over and over again.

We only have one body while we're here on the earth let's take care of it so it will last and take care of us.

Rich People Tendencies

Rich People Tendencies

I found out something revolutionary... I found out that rich people have a different thought process and way of conducting themselves than those who are not rich.
Granted these are generalizations but I'm sure you will find the WISDOM within it.

1. Being rich usually means being misunderstood. It's inevitable, those who have never been rich will always count the rich as being greedy, selfish, undeserving etc. if you want to be rich you shouldn't care (& you should determine whether or not someone else deserves to be rich...it's not your business).

2. Poor people look for ways to get a handout; rich people look for ways to generate money and be a source for the handout. ;) They realize that all it takes for their future to change is one right decision ...not someone having pity on them.

3. They make good [quick] decisions. There's a difference between moving quickly and moving hastily. To move quickly is to gather the information you need to take advantage if what's before you or to step away from what is before you. Indecision is a decision too.

4. They understand that the value they bring determines how much money they make. Poor people stand on what they "deserve" or what they determine to be "fair".

5. They are comfortable being uncomfortable. Nobody ever said that being rich was convenient...it's not. The lack of comfort can be experienced during negotiation of deals, breaking unhealthy habits ( and acquiring new ones), being frugal and so on. Being uncomfortable for a short period of time yields comfort for an extended period of time.

6. They don't wait for their ducks to be all in a row. Rich people can smell opportunity and jump on it (spirit filled rich people can sense it) while poor people say everything has to be perfect, the $100,000 has to all be there blah blah. As my mentor says ACT FAST and Ill add to that, Act fast and allow the opportunity to work for you even if everything around you isn't perfect.

7. Rich people make deals that benefit themselves AND others. Contrary to popular belief not all rich people are greedy. Zig Zigalr said it best, "You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want. "

8. Rich people mind their time like they mind their money. They seem their time as valuable so anyone who is not bringing value to them or their current projects cannot be a priority. This may sting a bit but anything you don't manage properly will be lost including your time, money, family and even your mind.

9. Rich people think this way, "if it is to be its up to me". In others words situations, circumstances, and obstacles are not viewed as hindrances they are viewed as building blocks and learning lessons that move them to the desired goal. They stand on the vision at hand, use goals to accomplish the vision and leave the blame game to the poor people.

10. Rich people are confident in themselves and know they have something to offer the world. Confidence is a wonderfully powerful thing and when used correctly can be a catalyst to becoming rich. I wrote about confidence and how to get it in my book called CHRIST CONFIDENCE. My book is a tool that you'll need to get started on your journey to becoming rich.

Bonus Lesson:
Rich people are continuous learners. They pride themselves on being people who are constantly reading new books to acquire new information. Tony Robbins is said to have read 700 books by the age of 17, which caused his classmates & teachers to ask him for answers to their questions. Poor people despise reading and they despise correction. Learning gives you new information but it also corrects wrong information. It's a good time to pick up a book!

These are just a few valuable lessons and thought processes to being rich. Make them your own thought processes and you'll see an immediate shift in your being rich.

Get excited about your prosperity

There is a HUGE debate within the body of Christ about whether or not prosperity is actually of God. I believe that this dissension is a plot of the enemy to cause confusion thus crippling the body of Christ.

But there is a remedy. Psalm 112: 1-4 discusses the issue and gives the answer. In fact Psalm 112 in its entireity tells about the fruit [or the lifestyle] of one who is prosperous.

1PRAISE THE Lord! (Hallelujah!) Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who fears (reveres and worships) the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments.

2His [spiritual] offspring shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3Prosperity and welfare are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.
4Light arises in the darkness for the upright, gracious, compassionate, and just [who are in right standing with God].
5It is well with the man who deals generously and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice.

6He will not be moved forever; the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firmly fixed, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord.

8His heart is established and steady, he will not be afraid while he waits to see his desire established upon his adversaries.
9He has distributed freely [he has given to the poor and needy]; his righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) endures forever; his horn shall be exalted in honor.
10The wicked man will see it and be grieved and angered, he will gnash his teeth and disappear [in despair]; the desire of the wicked shall perish and come to nothing.

The answer to the debate is this; true prosperity comes from God and if that prosperity is not predicated by "fear of the Lord" and the prosperity is not followed by righteousness... it is not from El Shaddi, the God of more than enough.

So get excited about your prosperity. The God you serve is ready to give it to you and show you how to use it for His glory, be in the mode of receiving!
